Free UK Delivery / Delivery charges
All Hi Fi and AV equipment purchased at Doug Brady HiFi comes with a free UK delivery service however there are a few variables. For some very large speakers over 30kg per box a shipping charge per box might be applicable especially to the below destinations.
- UK mainland : Free and generally next day delivery
- Scottish Highlands : Free with a minimum of a 2 day delivery
- Scottish Islands : £10.00 with a minimum of a 2 day delivery
- Northern Ireland : £10.00 with a minimum of a 2 day delivery
- Channel Islands : £10.00 with a minimum of a 2 day delivery
- Isle of Man/ Isle of Wight : £10.00 with a minimum of a 2 day delivery
We do ship a number of parcels on a regular basis outside of the UK e.g. Dubai, New York and Singapore so please do contact us as we will be able to arrange a shipment and can generally offer a very favourable shipping rate due to our contacts. Please Contact Us directly with your order
Delivery time and how can I expect my order to be processed
Place your order before 4pm, and your order* will generally be dispatched the same day for Next Day delivery (Mon-Fri) Please note orders taken on a Friday will be delivered on the Monday – we do offer a Saturday service for an additional cost
One hour delivery window
To save you waiting in all day for your parcel to arrive, our unique delivery service will offer you a one hour delivery slot – How is this done? When placing your order either by telephone or on our website, it is important to quote your email address, and /or your mobile telephone number, as our carrier will inform you on the morning of delivery, the exact one hour window your parcel will be arriving.
If it is not convenient, you can re-schedule your delivery for another day, just follow the instructions when you receive the message. All tracking information is contained in this message to enable you to track the progress of your delivery.
All deliveries must be signed for and are tracked for your security.
Unable to accept a home delivery? We can deliver your equipment to your place of work if you prefer. Simply fill in an alternative delivery address. As long as the billing address for your credit card is correct we can still process your order.
Doug Brady HiFi shall have no liability for delayed deliveries beyond our reasonable control, or for goods refused upon delivery. If you do refuse a delivery without prior notifying us that you wish to cancel your order (via email or phone) 12 hours in advance a £5.00 charge will be applied to your account which is the direct cost incurred by our business.
Collect from Shop
Instead of waiting to receive your order you can collect direct from the Doug Brady HiFi store. Please Contact Us to arrange a collection. We’ll be pleased to see you.
A free delivery and installation service is offered within the UK on selected products. Please ask us about this service.
Exchanges / Swaps
If you have changed your mind and wish to exchange your purchase for another item from Doug Brady HiFi you can do so however it will be subject to a deliver and collection charge of £13.00.
Not happy with what you've bought? just send it back to us within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked. Just please make sure that it meets the below criteria e.g. receipt and packaging etc.
Returns costs are however at your expense. If you would like us to arrange a collection at your cost however benefitting from our low negotiated shipping charges please Contact Us.
Orders returned will not be refunded if they are without:
- A receipt or an Order Confirmation Email
- Their original box
- Their original packing
- Their accessories
- Or are deemed to be in an unsellable condition
If the return is due to missing or faulty parts we will offer a full refund or replacement within 10 working days. Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will also include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.
Any refunds or exchanges given will be at our discretion pending a review of the returned goods.
If it is decided that you are not eligible for a refund or exchange, you will be notified by email to collect your goods from the Doug Brady HiFi shop or arrange for your goods to be returned to you at an additional cost.
Should you fail to make these arrangements within 3 months from the date you are notified, we have the right to refuse a refund or exchange and resell your goods to recover our costs.
