The QUAD Vena II Play integrated amplifier uses the same high-specification design as the Vena II, but now has the capability to stream all your favourite music wirelessly.

The Vena II Play uses the free DTS Play-Fi® app offers Spotify, Tidal, HD Tracks, Deezer, Amazon Music, to name a few. Internet Radio which has thousands of stations and podcasts, you can stream from smart-phones, tablets or PCs as well as a NAS Drives and home media server with DLNA compatibility. There is also both digital and analogue inputs, including an MM phono stage, for a turntable as well as aptX Bluetooth connectivity.

World famous Doug Brady Hi-Fi was born in Liverpool in the late 1950’s at the same time as turntables, vinyl and The Beatles. This cultural revolution with Liverpool at the centre, heralded the very first ‘Brady’ shop W.A.Brady & Son in the city's Smithdown Road.

Opened in 1960 W.A.Brady & Son was the start of something amazing and as word got around, turntable sales rocketed. Success soon followed with a flag ship store launched in Covent Garden London.

Doug Brady had a passion for all things music and was instrumental in establishing some of the UK’s finest ‘High Fidelity’ audio electronic and turntable brands such as Naim, Rega and Chord Electronics.

In the early 1980’s the business moved to a more central location half way between Manchester and Liverpool at Kingsway North, Warrington, Cheshire and that’s where we are based to this day.
