The drivers are unified via a carefully optimised crossover, using premium audio-grade capacitors, resistors and low-loss inductors, for best signal transfer and reduced distortion. The bolts that feature on the front baffle are a vital part of Talisman-R’s decoupled baffle design. These suspend the baffle on elastomer bushes and together with a dual damping strip, limit the vibration transfer from the drivers to the main enclosure. Internally the enclosure has a bracing system to control acoustic hotspots and is lined and damped with compound wadding. This absorbs energy over a wider frequency range and effectively controls internal standing waves.
