At Doug Brady HiFi, our legal terms and conditions are in addition to and exist to clarify the BADA promise, our delivery and returns information as well as the security and privacy of your personal details.

Terms & Conditions
By accessing this website and placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions laid out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website.

To enter any of our competitions you must be a UK resident over 18 years of age. No purchase necessary. The closing date will be specified in each competition. Our competitions are not open to Doug Brady HiFi employees, associates or their families.

Competition winners will be notified by email. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize may not be exchanged for cash. By entering the competition the winner agrees to receive our regular newsletter.

If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. We will endeavour to deliver prizes within 1 month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

Special Orders 
A special order is placed for a customer when we don’t hold stock of a particular product. Special orders are not eligible for the BADA 10 day exchange.

Advanced Orders 
An advanced order, or pre-release order is a type of Special Order placed for a customer prior to the availability of stock.

Often we will take a deposit or full payment with additional terms and conditions which will be made aware to the customer prior to purchase.

Doug Brady HiFi reserves the right to make changes to our website and policies as well as these terms and conditions at any time.

Acceptance of Order
Your contract with us comes into existence when your order has been confirmed by us. This happens when you receive an Order Confirmation Email, confirming the receipt of payment.

Doug Brady HiFi is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. In this instance, we will contact you as soon as possible by email to inform you of the correct price of the goods and ask if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.

All deliveries must be signed for and are tracked for your security.

Doug Brady HiFi shall have no liability for delayed deliveries beyond our reasonable control, nor for goods refused upon delivery.

If no one is at home to sign for your delivery, our couriers will leave a calling card and attempt another delivery the following working day. After this you will be required to collect the goods from your local depot.

If delivery is refused, or you do not collect the goods from your local depot, your order will be returned to the sender (Doug Brady HiFi) and we will wait for you to contact us before we refund you your money, minus the return postage cost.

Failure to enter the correct delivery details may result in additional charges. If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, Doug Brady HiFi cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred as a result.

If you need to return a purchase, please contact us before returning goods in person or by post.

Returns costs are at your expense. If you would like us to arrange a collection at your cost however benefitting from our low negotiated shipping charges please contact us.

Orders returned will not be refunded if they are without:

  • A receipt or an Order Confirmation Email
  • Their original box
  • Their original packing
  • Their accessories
  • Or are deemed to be in an unsellable condition

As members of BADA we offer a 10 day exchange for hi fi and home cinema separates, excluding Special Orders. We also offer an extended 2 years guarantee on all hi fi separates, excluding vision products.

If the return is due to missing or faulty parts we will offer a full refund or replacement within 10 working days. Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will also include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.

Any refunds or exchanges given will be at our discretion pending a review of the returned goods.

If you are not found to be eligible for a refund or exchange, you will be notified by email to collect your goods from the Doug Brady HiFi shop or arrange for your goods to be returned to you at an additional cost.

Should you fail to make these arrangements within 3 months from the date you are notified, we have the right to refuse a refund or exchange and resell your goods to recover our costs.

Trademarks / Copyrights / Restrictions
You may not reproduce any materials on the Doug Brady HiFi Website or associated websites without permission. Instead we ask that you link to our articles and offers from your Facebook account, website or favourite online communities.
