The Oberon 1C is a compact wireless bookshelf speaker. The OBERON C power amplification comprises of two 50 Watt, Class-D power amplifiers chosen specifically for their sound quality and dynamic ability. One amplifier powers the high frequency driver, one powers the bass/mid driver.
Sporting a 29mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter and a 5.25” wood fibre cone SMC bass/midrange driver, its rear reflex loaded cabinet offers an optimal balance between internal volume for bass performance and compact dimensions for small rooms. The Oberon 1 C can be installed within furniture units or on shelves, or wall mounted directly via rear panel keyhole slots or placed on speaker stands for optimal sound.
There is a small separate wireless connection box called a sound hub compact which enables you to easily connect your wired equipment such as TVs or Turntables whist also incorporating the Bluetooth receiver.
The sound hub transmit both digital and analgoue sources wirelessly to the Oberon 1 C Speakers. This means you can place the speakers anywhere in the room whilst the sound hub can be hidden away near your chosen source, such as your TV or even a turntable can be connected.
SOUND HUB COMPACT (Bluetooth Hub)
The SOUND HUB COMPACT Bluetooth input enables smartphones, tablets, laptop or desktop computers, or any other Bluetooth audio source to stream your music wirelessly to your Oberon 1 C speakers, It also has 4 inputs including 1 phono, perfect for turntables (phone stage required, 2 optical and a HDMI ARC, input for TV audio - switching on and off in sync with the TV. Additionally it enables the use of the TV remote control to adjust volume and mute functions. It's compact dimensions mean is slim enough that it can even be located out-of-sight behind a wall-mounted TV.
