Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
In-store purchases
We will happily refund or exchange your purchase in full if for any reason you wish to return your item/s to us in a ‘sealed’ (unopened/unused) condition within 30 days of purchase.
As you can appreciate, we would request that all goods be returned in an ‘as new’ condition complete with packaging and all accessories (please note, for hygiene reasons we are unable to give refunds on headphones). Unfortunately, goods which do not comply with this condition may be subject to a handling fee.
If the unit/s you’re returning have been opened or used, we are unable to resell them as new. Therefore, a 20% handling fee may be deducted if they are returned within 14 days of purchase in mint condition with all packaging/accessories (excludes headphones). This does not affect your statutory rights.
Items bought over the phone or online
We will happily accept the return of your online purchase*, if it is unopened unused or if the item has been opened it is your responsibility to ensure it remains in 'as new' condition, this includes all accessories and the original box and all packaging also should be as good as new when returned (complete with the original box, packaging, and all included accessories and where possible clear packing tape to be used to reseal the box) under the following circumstances:

If you wish to return goods (other than faulty goods) you should notify us of your intention to do so within 14 days of the date of receipt by you by visiting the returns portal found here.
You then have an additional 14 days to return the goods from this notification date (goods should be returned within 30 days). Returns costs are however at your expense.
You can also return items to our store Doug Brady Hi Fi in Warrington.
You will pay the cost of any return delivery or postage costs for goods you want to return.

Refused deliveries
If you choose NOT to accept delivery of you purchase a refused return delivery charge of £30 per item will be applied to your order. (For remote and off shore locations an additional charge will apply)
Our Returns Procedure
Please ensure that you take reasonable care of any goods we deliver to you. As you can appreciate, we expect that all goods be returned are in as good as new re-saleable condition

You will not receive a refund for personalised or made to order products. Doug Brady Hi Fi reserves the right to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the goods by you this includes the supplied accessories original box and packaging being kept in as received condition. All goods to be returned to us must be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase or if you do not have this, you must provide us with your order number or any relevant information you have to help us track your order details.
Ways to return unwanted goods:
Option 1 – Return to our store
All items can be returned in person to our Doug Brady HiFi store for a refund or exchange.
Option 2 – Return by post to
Doug Brady HIFI, Kingsway Studios, Kingsway North, Warrington. WA1 3NU
If all condition above are met, we will send you a full refund within 14 days of receiving the goods from you , excluding any premium delivery charges.
Once your refund is processed it will appear in your account within 5 working days (a working day is Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays).
Nothing in this Returns procedure affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Any refunds or exchanges given will be at our discretion pending a review of the returned goods.
If it is decided that you are not eligible for a refund or exchange, you will be notified by email to collect your goods from the Doug Brady HiFi shop or arrange for your goods to be returned to you at an additional cost.
Should you fail to make these arrangements within 3 months from the date you are notified, we have the right to refuse a refund or exchange and resell your goods to recover our costs.
Returning faulty items
In the event your new purchase develops a fault within the first 30 days of purchase, simply return your item to your us in store (complete with all original packaging and accessories) and you will be offered the choice of either an exchange or a full refund.
If you made your purchase via our website or over the phone with our team, and you are unable to return your faulty item to store, then please let us know so we can get things resolved for you. We will try and resolve any issues over the phone, if necessary we can arrange for the item to be returned to our store where our on site engineer will check the item for defects and if faulty we will arrange a replacement or refund if requested. (please note if no fault is found you will be charged the cost of the collection and redelivery of your item) Please have your order number to hand, where possible. A deduction will be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods.
