The AudioQuest Niagara 1200 brings the benefits of highly optimized power management to a broader audience of music lovers, replacing the much-lauded Niagara 1000.

Advanced Engineering

Designed by Garth Powell, the Niagara 1200 embodies the same design philosophy and patented technology as its larger counterparts but is housed in a smaller, more affordable enclosure. The Niagara 1200 features ultra-low resistance solid-core wiring optimized for low-noise directionality, capacitor forming technologies that enhance linearity and minimize distortion, and low-impedance AC inlet and outlet contacts with heavy silver plating over high-purity Beryllium Copper for superior noise dissipation.

Design and Build

The most notable difference between the Niagara 1000 and 1200, aside from the 1200’s striking textured finish, is its more universally functional shape and substantial weight. The Niagara 1200 can be placed on a shelf like a component, with all cables connected at the back. It can also be positioned face down with the outlets accessible, fitting neatly between furniture and the wall. Additionally, it is designed to stand on one end, providing versatile placement options.

Superior Protection and Performance

The Niagara 1200 offers non-sacrificial surge protection, patented Ground-Noise Dissipation technology, and over-voltage shutdown. These non-sacrificial protection circuits ensure your system is safeguarded from AC surges and spikes, with the Niagara 1200 protecting itself to prevent damage and downtime.

Employing AudioQuest’s patented Ground-Noise Dissipation and Linear Noise-Dissipation Technology, the Niagara 1200 features seven high-performance outlets within its sleek, cabinet-friendly design.
