Die-cast Aluminium Platter

A significant enhancement from the previous model, the E1, is the replacement of the ABS polymer platter with a newly engineered 730g die-cast aluminium platter. This heavier, precision-balanced component provides a stable, anti-resonant base for your records. The extra step of reworking and fine-tuning the platter ensures smooth and consistent spinning, reducing speed fluctuations and unwanted vibrations. The added mass not only improves rotational stability but also enhances the overall acoustic performance, resulting in a richer and more detailed listening experience.

Pick it MM E 

The cartridge is a critical component in any turntable, as it converts the grooves of the record into an electrical signal. The E1.2 is equipped with the Pick it MM E cartridge, featuring a lightweight system driven by a miniature neodymium magnet. This low-inertia design significantly improves tracking accuracy. The conical diamond stylus provides warm, smooth audio with minimal background noise, while the damped ABS body effectively eliminates vibrational colouration, contributing to cleaner, high-fidelity playback.

Precision Tonearm Engineering

The E1.2’s tonearm is designed for exceptional tracking and sonic stability. Its heavy-mass gimbal design, combined with a zero-play precision bearing system, delivers fluid movement and reliable performance. The carbon-reinforced headshell reduces vibrations, while the oversized counterweight, positioned closer to the arm’s pivot, enhances balance and tracking.
