Arcam A15+ with PMC Prodigy1 (2025 Model)

It was back in the mid-1970s when Doug Brady introduced the very first amplifier from A&R Cambridge (as the company was then known) — the A60. This model featured prominently in many of our magazine advertisements and helped establish our reputation in British hi-fi. Since then, Arcam has produced many highly regarded amplifiers. The Arcam A15 continued that legacy with great success, earning a reputation for performance and reliability. Naturally, expectations are high for its successor, the Arcam A15+, which is set to carry the torch forward.

Signature Arcam Sound, With More Power
Like the more affordable A5, the A15+ retains Arcam’s signature full-bodied, smooth sound — but with added power. It delivers greater clarity, scale, and precision, making it a perfect choice for pairing with tower speakers, filling larger rooms, and enjoying music at higher volumes without compromising quality.
Built on Decades of Expertise
The “A” in ARCAM stands for amplification — the foundation of everything we do. The A15+ represents the latest chapter in almost 50 years of amplifier innovation, beginning with the launch of our first product in 1976, the A&R Cambridge A60. Following the award-winning ARCAM Radia A15, our engineers have gone further still, creating a more powerful, better-sounding, and more versatile integrated amplifier in the A15+.
Impressive Connectivity
The A15+ offers a wide range of connectivity options, including analogue inputs and a meticulously tuned phono stage for vinyl lovers. It also features modern digital inputs, including HDMI eARC, making it ideal for enhancing both music and TV audio with impact and precision.
Wireless Audio Without Compromise
Equipped with an upgraded power supply and advanced wireless capabilities, the A15+ is ready to perform straight out of the box. Snapdragon Sound delivers uncompressed Bluetooth audio, while Auracast allows multiple compatible headphones or speakers to stream music wirelessly — with no pairing required.
Inside the Prodigy1
PMC's commitment to delivering natural, uncolored sound is evident in the Prodigy1. The Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass-loading is a cornerstone of PMC's renowned sound quality. ATL intelligently and efficiently utilizes the energy generated by the bass driver, outperforming traditional ported or sealed box designs. The addition of PMC Laminair airflow technology further refines ATL, enhancing clarity, timing, and eliminating unwanted air noise.
A Compact/Bookshelf Speaker
The PMC Prodigy1 Bookshelf/Standmount Speakers exemplify the perfect blend of compact design and robust sound, providing an outstanding audio experience in small to medium-sized rooms. Drawing from PMC's acclaimed nearfield monitors used in recording and broadcast studios worldwide, the Prodigy1 reveals intricate details, immersing you in the original performance regardless of space limitations.
