Choosing your System 

As you progress through the amplifier range, you’ll notice an increase in power output, resulting in enhanced control over your speakers. This allows for louder volumes with reduced harshness, leading to a smoother and more enjoyable listening experience. Greater power translates to tighter bass and improved clarity, with better separation and stereo imaging. The sound will feel more holographic and 3D.

Much more than just a box-ticking exercise, the Arcam A5’s built-in phono stage makes a top quality connection for your turntable. Suited to turntables with MM (Moving Magnet) cartridges, the high spec phono stage draws a deep seam of information from your vinyl, letting you hear subtle details from the music that might previously have been missed.

Stream from your smartphone in Hi-Res audio

For simple yet high quality music streaming, the A5 features Bluetooth with Qualcomm AptX Adaptive technology. When used with a compatible source device such as tablets, phones or PC, this delivers up to 24-bit Hi-Res music streaming, giving you better than CD-quality, from a wireless connection. 

Tall But Still Compact

Although the Neat Motive SX1 is the taller of the two floorstanders in the Motive SX range, it remains a compact and elegant model that blends discreetly into any living room. Its performance rivals larger and more expensive models, making it a standout choice for audiophiles seeking high-quality sound in a sleek design.

Driver Configuration

The SX1 uses a two-and-a-half-way configuration, with the bass/midrange driver and tweeter operating within a sealed enclosure. The sub-bass drive unit is housed separately in a reflex-tuned section below. The bass reflex port is fitted to the bottom panel of the cabinet and is vented through an outlet in the stylishly sculpted MDF plinth. Despite its compact dimensions, the Motive SX1 accurately reproduces genuinely low bass notes with spacious and well-focused stereo imagery.

Innovative Tweeter

The tweeter is a new and upgraded unit used throughout the Motive SX range, featuring a huge screened magnet assembly and a 25mm inverted anodized aluminum dome. This type of tweeter is typically found in more expensive high-end loudspeakers, making it an exceptional inclusion in the Motive SX designs.
