The Atoll CD100 Signature CD player comes in a new metal case with a superb 4mm brushed-aluminium front panel (silver or black)! Of course, this front panel takes the new design of Atoll products. The back panel provides an asymmetrical stereo analogue output, a digital output in S/PDIF coaxial format and a Toslink optical output.

The CD100 Signature player accepts CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs in MP3, WMA and AAC formats. It is also compatible with the CD Text if the CD has one.

This CD player features Teac Pure Audio CD mechanics optimized to reduce jitter to a minimum. It is mounted on a central anti-resonant chassis to avoid any vibration that would damage the playback.

The digital part uses a Burr-Brown conversion chip different from the Atoll CD50 Signature and CD80 Signature CD players. Atoll opted for the Burr-Brown PCM1793 for the CD100 Signature. It offers a resolution of 24 bit/192 kHz and changes the signal-to-noise ratio from 113 to 123 dB!

World famous Doug Brady Hi-Fi was born in Liverpool in the late 1950’s at the same time as turntables, vinyl and The Beatles. This cultural revolution with Liverpool at the centre, heralded the very first ‘Brady’ shop W.A.Brady & Son in the city's Smithdown Road.
