Dual Mono Phonostage Preamp
The dual mono phonostage preamp (MM/MC) offers independent left and right channel power sources and circuits, providing superior channel separation and audio fidelity.
High-Quality Headphone Amplifier
Equipped with a robust headphone amplifier, the F Series can effortlessly drive even the most demanding high-impedance headphones, delivering abundant output and excellent sound quality.
High-Precision Ball Bearing Control Knobs
The F Series employs the same high-precision bearing mechanisms used in our Grandioso components. The volume control knobs and selector switches offer exceptionally smooth, analog-feel operation without any mechanical play. All panel knobs are custom-machined from solid aluminum, ensuring premium quality. 
Balanced Configuration Power Amplifier Input Stage
The front stage of the power amplification section features a balanced configuration, consistent with our S Series separate amplifiers. This design enhances dynamic range through low impedance and clean amplification.
Large-Capacity Custom Power Transformer
The power supplies of the F Series include large-core 940VA custom EI power transformers and 40,000µF block capacitors for each channel in a dual monaural configuration. Large-gauge cables minimize impedance. This power section achieves a linear power output, ranging from 120W at an 8Ω load to 240W at 4Ω, faithfully reproducing every musical dynamic.
Large Bipolar LAPT Transistors
Utilized in Grandioso models, large bipolar LAPT transistors provide an impressive continuous current capacity of 17A and 34A of instantaneous peak power. Their superior high-frequency characteristics ensure accurate reproduction of delicate tones. 
3D Optimized Chassis Construction
The F-Series features a 3D Optimized Chassis with robust construction, giving each circuit block a dedicated compartment. This minimizes circuit interference and achieves the shortest possible cable routing. The chassis is formed from thick aluminum panels and supports the unit on four machined steel insulators to reduce vibration. The F-05 weighs 32kg, exceptional for integrated models.
Designed for System Upgrades
The F Series preamplifier and power amplifier sections match the refinement of Esoteric's separate units and can be used independently or disabled if not in use. The PRE-out features a powerful buffer amplifier, while XLR outputs provide a fully balanced configuration. The optional board slot allows for system upgrades, including the OP-DAC1 D/A Converter Board or OP-ESLA1 ES-Link Analog Input Board.
