This system is ready to play your favorite tunes in minutes…
The Audiolab 7000A and KEF Q Concerto combine precision and power of the 7000A with the advanced sound technology of the Q Concerto. The 7000A’s 70W per channel and ESS DAC deliver the clean, controlled amplification needed to drive the Q Concerto’s Uni-Q driver array and Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which enhances clarity and reduces distortion. Together, they create an immersive audio experience, with the amplifier’s dynamic range and the speaker’s detailed soundstage ensuring superior performance for both music and home theatre setups.
7000A Integrated Amplifier
The Audiolab 7000A Integrated Amplifier closely resembles the previous series, maintaining a consistent visual aesthetic across Audiolab’s range. However, it offers significant improvements over the 6000A, such as 70W per channel output, a new DAC, and a vibrant IPS LCD screen. The Audiolab 7000A excels in ergonomics, build quality, and acoustic performance. Its power amp delivers 70W per channel with a 9A current capacity, using complementary feedback topology for superior linearity and thermal stability, ensuring excellent control and dynamic range.
Connectivity and Digital Integration
Connectivity is another strength of the 7000A, supporting a wide array of sources, including analogue, digital, wireless, and TV inputs. Dual analogue and digital inputs, a Bluetooth aptX receiver, and an ARC connection make it highly versatile for modern audio setups. The integration of an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC further elevates the sound quality, while full MQA decoding adds support for high-resolution streaming services like Tidal’s HiFi Plus. A built-in phono stage enhances the amplifier’s appeal to vinyl enthusiasts, offering superior performance for moving magnet cartridges.
Crisp Screen & Headphone Amplifier
The 7000A also caters to headphone users with its dedicated headphone amp, providing a dynamic and detailed sound experience. Its improved interface includes a 2.8″ IPS display, offering a user-friendly GUI that mirrors the 9000A’s interface in a more compact form. This display includes settings for digital phase lock, brightness, and even a VU meter, ensuring a satisfying and customisable user experience. With its crisp styling, versatility, and sonic consistency, the Audiolab 7000A sets a new benchmark in its price class, offering broad musical depth and an engaging performance across all formats.
A Concert in Speaker Form
The KEF Q Concerto META honours the classic Concerto, originally launched in 1969, by making high-fidelity audio more accessible for home use. As the first 3-way bookshelf speaker in the Q Series, it integrates advanced technology from KEF’s higher-end ranges, including The Reference and R Series. The Concerto META features the latest Uni-Q driver array, enhanced bass, and a sleek cabinet design, delivering superior performance and modern aesthetics.
The Q Concerto META benefits from a larger cabinet and an additional LF driver, resulting in improved frequency separation, more pronounced bass, and clearer stereo imaging. This combination of features ensures a richer, more detailed sound experience, making it an excellent choice for stereo setups and home theatre systems in medium to smaller rooms.
Building on KEF’s award-winning heritage, the Q Series now includes the latest 12th generation Uni-Q driver array and Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™).
This iteration offers enhanced sound clarity and reduced distortion through a refined 3-way design and revolutionary sound absorption. The Q Series also incorporates Shadow Flare technology to minimise cabinet diffraction, ensuring precise and immersive audio for both music and cinematic experiences.
