17-inch SVS driver
It was a ground-up process designing the largest, most formidable driver ever deployed in an SVS subwoofer. An all-new dual voice coil, suspension, basket, and extreme-excursion surround achieve chest-compressing sound pressure levels with flawless tonal accuracy.

Dual 8-inch voice coils

- 4-layer bi-filar dual voice coil conducts massive power from the dual-mono amplifier to the motor with maximum thermal efficiency, resulting in effortless acoustic output

- Onboard AC line conditioner filters and stabilises incoming voltage, corrects waveform distortions, and eliminates electromagnetic and radio interference to optimise signal quality and audio performance
- Ensures clean and consistent 160V rail voltage and optimal power delivery from a standard 15-amp home circuit
- Power factor correction (PFC) time-aligns AC voltage to AC current, resulting in less heat, greater efficiency, reliable peak power output, and consistent performance across a wide voltage range
- FEA-optimised convection cooling system has no exterior heatsinks, an extraordinary feat for such a powerful amplifier
