In the 1980s, John Michell set out to isolate the most sensitive parts of a turntable from vibration and mechanical noise. He developed a suspended design featuring a floating pendulum sub-chassis and an innovative oil-pumping inverted main bearing, significantly advancing vinyl playback beyond many competing designs.

Today, Michell designs and manufactures a suite of turntables, tonearms and cartridges, offering music lovers the opportunity to experience high-end analogue audio at an accessible price.
