This Mission system combines the new Mission 778X integrated amplifier with new Mission LX-2 MkII speakers. The Mission System’s all round performance is engaging, detailed and refined. Mission is promoting two package deals that combine the 778X with popular standmount models from its range, forming great-value, high-quality audio systems.
The Mission 778x with Mission LX-2 MkII System Package is available from mid December 2022 in a choice of silver or black for the amplifier and Matt Black, Matt White or Walnut for the speakers.
Perfect for TurntablesThe Mission 778X integrated phono stage is based around a JFET-based circuit with precise RIAA equalisation. It’s optimised for MM cartridges and as such, it’s a high-quality, low-noise input that eliminates any need for an additional phono pre-amp.
Bluetooth wireless connectionComplementing the typical RCA line inputs are digital and coax connection options and a built-in Bluetooth receiver with an aptX and AAC codec, meaning the 778X offers CD performance via Bluetooth wireless connection. The convenience of streaming music from smart devices, such as phones, tablets or PCs have never sounded so good!
High-performance DACThat’s not all in terms of digital music facilitation. The 778X is also equipped with a high-performance ESS ES9018K2M Reference chip with ESS Technology’s 32-bit HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator. In the world of digital music files, this means the 778X offers class-leading, ultra-low noise digital audio file compatibility, with a sampling rate of up to 384kHz (PCM) and DSD256!
Equal in performance to standalone headphone amplifiers, beyond the price- class of this complete system, the design offers high-speed output signal transition thanks to a high slew rate. The result is a dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with all manner of headphone types.
A Complete MISSION SYSTEM
Mission also has a choice of two complete systems that combine the 778X with popular standmount models from the Mission range of speakers, forming great-value, high-quality audio systems. This system includes a pair of Mission LX-2 MkII speakers at a package price of £649, saving £130 from the individual RRPs. The second upgrades the speakers to the Mission QX-2 MkII at a package price of £799, saving a total of £150. In both cases, the speakers are available in a choice of matt black, matt white or walnut.
