The Pro-Ject CD Box DS3 is part of the DS3 line and can easily be combined with existing DS2 products due to consistent casework design. It offers convenient control via front buttons or the supplied remote, with a clear dot-matrix display providing all necessary information for CD playback. Designed specifically for stereo CDs, the drive is optimised for Red Book CDDA standard, ensuring high-quality audio playback compared to DVD or Blu-ray players.

The CD Box DS3 features the advanced Blue Tiger CD-80 servo, developed by Stream Unlimited, for precise control. Its DAC, the renowned PCM1796, delivers a smooth, analogue sound character that has been popular in high-end CD players. The unit includes an RCA line-level output for pre- or integrated amplifiers, along with two digital outputs for connection to external DACs, allowing for flexible audio setups.

Additionally, the CD Box DS3 is equipped with an intelligent 4-point suspension system that isolates external vibrations while guiding high-frequency vibrations into the chassis for stability. Its aluminium chassis ensures a secure mounting base for the sensitive CD drive, preventing torsion and protecting it from vibrations and electromagnetic interference, ensuring optimal performance.

Bought some Rega Kyte speakers, stands and chords from DB online and they were incredibly helpful. They updated my delivery address very quickly and recommended a longer cut of cables which they did complimentary. They also noticed I didn’t order with banana plugs so called me back to double check, which I did mean to order. When i had some issues connecting my cables and speakers, I called for some advice which they happily gave. Excellent service and next day delivery to London. Thoroughly recommend.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.
