The Pro-Ject Connect it E Phono utilises "dual twisted pair" technology with a 100% foil shield to effectively reject electromagnetic (EM) and radio frequency (RF) interference – the common sources of hum and buzz in audio systems. The dual twisted pair construction features two identical conductors, one for the positive and one for the negative signal, tightly wrapped around each other. This design ensures exceptional noise rejection, which would not be achievable with standard cables.

Reliable Connections and Grounding

The Connect it E Phono 5P Right Angle / MiniXLR  is fitted with high-conductivity 5 pin din connector, ensuring a secure, tight fit that remains stable even when equipment is moved. These connectors are plated with 24k gold, providing optimal signal transfer and resistance to corrosion. A grounding lead is included to connect your turntable to the phono stage or amplifier, helping to eliminate unwanted hum. These semi-balanced cables feature shielding connected at just one end, so the yellow-marked side should always be connected to the receiving end of the signal path.
