Position Overview - Sales Consultant 

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable HiFi Sales Colleague to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will bring industry experience, deep product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers create the ultimate listening experience. From turntables to streaming systems, you'll be at the heart of helping customers find their perfect setup — whether in-store, over the phone, or online.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 OTE per year

Work Location: Doug Brady HiFi Store, Warrington

Experience:

  • Sales experience essential
  • Experience within the hi-fi, electronics or music industry is preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on HiFi systems including speakers, amplifiers, turntables, headphones, and accessories
  • Communicate effectively via telesales, email, and live web chat
  • Assess customer needs and offer tailored solutions with confidence and care
  • Build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business
  • Set up and demonstrate equipment in-store to offer hands-on experiences
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and store sales targets
  • Stay informed on new product releases and emerging HiFi technologies
  • Support day-to-day operations and help maintain a tidy, customer-focused store environment
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in HiFi or consumer electronics sales (essential)
  • Genuine passion for music and audio equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Be able to multitask effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales-driven with a proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable with technology, including basic troubleshooting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HiFi trends, products, and best practices
