The Neat Momentum J6 Floorstanding Speaker is inspired by Neat Acoustics’ flagship Ultimatum range and is a more compact version of the Ultimatum XLS. The dual 25mm soft dome/EMIT super-tweeter has been upgraded to the superior Jet AMT tweeter, which provides enhanced high-frequency performance. Retaining the same bass-mid drive unit as the ultimatum, the design includes the distinctive decoupled sub-baffle, which plays a significant role in reducing cabinet resonance for cleaner sound reproduction.

Ultimate Inspiration

The Momentum J6 2.5-way loudspeaker inspired by the design of the Ultimatum XL6. Its upper section features an AMT tweeter alongside Neat’s own ‘R3’ unit, responsible for both bass and midrange, effectively functioning as a sealed 2-way speaker. This section is separated from the lower part, which contains two downward-facing 170 mm drive units in an isobaric setup, dedicated solely to deep bass frequencies, similar to an integrated subwoofer.

Balanced Sound

The inclusion of the Ultimatum-style plinth provides excellent stability to the speaker's enclosure, significantly enhancing stereo imaging and precision. Like all Neat loudspeakers, the Momentum J6 uses hard-wired crossover components with point-to-point connections to ensure maximum signal integrity. The carefully selected, high-quality components contribute to a cohesive and well-balanced sound performance.

Bought some Rega Kyte speakers, stands and chords from DB online and they were incredibly helpful. They updated my delivery address very quickly and recommended a longer cut of cables which they did complimentary. They also noticed I didn’t order with banana plugs so called me back to double check, which I did mean to order. When i had some issues connecting my cables and speakers, I called for some advice which they happily gave. Excellent service and next day delivery to London. Thoroughly recommend.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.
