Founded by CARLO BADALASSI, a former professor at a leather school in Santa Croce, Badalassi Carlo has been producing top-tier leather for over 40 years. By blending traditional Tuscan vegetable leather processing methods with innovative theories and techniques, they create leather of unmatched quality.

Vegetable leather processing, an eco-friendly method, involves tanning leather with plant-extracted tannins, resulting in a process that takes considerable time to achieve.

Minerva Leather

Minerva leather is a plain, un-milled leather that initially presents a matte appearance. However, with use, it develops a rich patina and increased luster, reflecting its unique aging process. Crafted using the Vacchetta method from Tuscany, Minerva leather evolves naturally, as the absence of artificial coatings allows the inherent oils to bring out a natural shine and deepen the color over time. Like other vegetable-tanned leathers, Minerva becomes more beautiful as it ages, showcasing its timeless elegance.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.
