Astell&Kern LUNA In Ear Headphones IEM

LUNA is the third product in Astell&Kern’s in-ear monitor (IEM) series, continuing the brand’s philosophy of delivering sound faithful to the original recording. Building on the technical foundations laid by the AK ZERO1 and AK ZERO2, LUNA introduces enhanced precision through a 13mm planar driver. The result is greater tonal balance and spatial definition, offering a more immersive and accurate listening experience.

LUNA has been meticulously tuned to provide deep, resonant bass and delicate, shimmering treble. Katabiki

At the heart of LUNA is the newly developed Unipolar Micro Planar Magnetic Driver, known as Katabiki (片響), engineered in partnership with MADOO. Inspired by the structure of dynamic drivers, it features a unique unipolar magnetic circuit and a CNC-machined aluminium diaphragm housing for increased rigidity. The ultra-thin film diaphragm with a printed aluminium pattern drastically reduces weight, allowing for faster response and enhanced resolution. Its dual ring-shaped yoke and single magnet system provide excellent magnetic flux control and natural resonance.

Sonic Clarity Cabling

To complement its high-performance driver, LUNA includes a Silver-Coated OCC and Copper OCC cable that has been carefully engineered for superior conductivity and sonic purity. The cable design allows for precise signal transmission, ensuring that the driver performs to its full potential. Aluminium connector housings add to the product’s durability and premium finish, completing the overall high-end construction.
