That's where this KW1 RX add-on receiver comes in. It plugs directly into your compatible KEF sub's expansion port for power and signal transfer.
What’s the KW1?
The KEF KW1 comprises a compact transmitter and receiver designed to work seamlessly with KEF’s Kube, KC62, and KC92 subwoofers. This wireless system enables optimal subwoofer placement without the restrictions of cabling, allowing you to position your sub where it performs best. The KW1 transmits high-quality audio wirelessly, ensuring that every detail and impact from your favourite music and films is delivered with precision and clarity.
Reliable Wireless Performance and Broad Compatibility
The KW1 operates within the high-bandwidth 5GHz range and supports audio transmission up to 24bit/48kHz. The transmitter is powered via USB, while the receiver draws power directly from the subwoofer’s expansion port. Pairing is quick and stable, with a wireless range of up to 30 metres (line of sight), offering excellent flexibility. The receiver is also sold separately, allowing two KEF subwoofers to share the same wireless signal. In addition to subwoofers, the KW1 is fully compatible with KEF’s LSX II LT, LSX II, LS50 Wireless II, and LS60 Wireless systems.
