The Ortofon 2M Red PnP MkII is the latest version of the 2M Red cartridge, specifically designed for tonearms that accept direct plug-in mounting. This Plug and Play version delivers the same excellent sound quality as the standard 2M Red but is tailored for tonearms without a traditional headshell, offering a practical and straightforward installation for turntables with an SME style arm, such as Technics.
Manufactured from a high-rigidity compound used in the medical industry, the 2M Red Plug and Play effectively reduces unwanted vibrations. It features a universal mount fitting for a wide range of tonearms and utilizes a polished elliptical diamond stylus. The cartridge's interchangeable stylus design ensures easy maintenance and long-term usability.
