Cyrus Classic STREAM
The Cyrus Classic STREAM is a full-featured music player that can be controlled by BluOS, the operating system made famous in Bluesound's high fidelity systems. It supports playback from all the major streaming services, as well as Roon Ready, Airplay2 and MQA decoding. The Classic STREAM, using advanced technologies and your home network, can wirelessly play lossless music up to 24-bit/192kHz—all with no lag and zero loss in sound quality.
BluOS
The BluOS app makes it easy to access your digital music library and enjoy all of your favorite songs. BluOS is an intuitive and easy-to-use streaming platform that allows for wireless audio and video playback from all the major music streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and Spotify. It also allows you to connect with your own digital music library, all via the intuitive BluOS app.
DAC
The Cyrus Classic STREAM's advanced QXR DAC is engineered to provide clean resolution and natural sound reproduction. The QXR DAC design is based on a chipset from ESS—the ES9038Q2M. The components in that chip have been thoroughly analyzed by our engineering team, and the layout has also been optimized for maximum performance. The result is an incredibly accurate and precise digital-to-analogue converter, one that will have you listening back through your entire music collection to hear what you've been missing.
Apple Airplay2
With AirPlay2 on the Classic STREAM, you can play music from your iPhone. You can even tell Siri what song to play.
Master Quality Authenticated (MQA)
The Classic STREAM is packed with revolutionary MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology. This captures the audio recording straight from a studio and delivers it to your listening device in master-quality form—the same as if you were there!
Roon Ready*
Roon brings all your music together in one accessible place, so you no longer have to worry about where it is stored or what format it's in. Roon supports music files stored on internal and external hard drives, NAS devices, your iTunes library and live radio stations. It also supports streaming from Tidal and Qobuz.
PSX-R2 Upgrade
The Classic STREAM's PSX-R2 power supply port allows the use of an external, higher quality power source. The internal circuitry routes that power through the preamp stage, stabilizing and lowering noise in the digital-to-analog converter sections of the DAC.
