After many years of success with the DALI Oberon speakers, we feel at Doug Brady HiFi that DALI's new replacement series will be equally successful. With SONIK 1, you get full, detailed sound in an ultra-compact design featuring a 29mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter and a 5¼-inch wood fibre SMC and Clarity Cone woofer. Its small cabinet offers a perfect balance of bass performance and space efficiency, making it ideal for small rooms, shelf, stand, or wall mounting.

Inspired by the DALI KORE technology, SONIK bass and midrange drivers feature Clarity Cone paper and wood fibre cones for lightweight rigidity and superior resonance control. The Clarity Cone ensures a coherent and natural handover from driver to driver. The result is a more realistic, uncoloured upper midrange and a seamless transition to the tweeter.

The SONIK series uses DALI’s patented SMC magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC pole piece, placing SMC directly in the voice coil’s working zone. This minimises hysteresis and eddy currents, delivering cleaner, more detailed, and more relaxed midrange performance.
