The experience of producing high quality digital audio products since then has been poured into the ARCAM CD5. The ARCAM CD5 is for those intimate listening experiences with your favourite music on Compact Disc.

It was way back in the mid 1980s when Doug Brady showcased the first CD Player from Arcam the Delta 70 CD player. All the companies experience and expertise in this digital format has been used to produce the new but still affordable CD Player the CD5.

The Arcam CD5 uses premium components to deliver top-notch sound without unnecessary extras. Its high-quality electronics enable playback of Hi-Res audio discs or music via the USB-A input. As part of Arcam’s Radia range, it combines sleek styling with all-aluminium construction, making it one of the most elegant Arcam CD players to date.

Premium quality ESS DAC for dynamic and detailed sound

At its core, the Arcam CD5 features an ESS 9018 Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC). Combined with precision-engineered components, this DAC ensures superb sound quality. The result is a highly detailed, distortion-free, and dynamic performance that brings out the best in your CD collection.

Hi-Res audio playback

The player supports Hi-Res music playback through FLAC and WAV-encoded CDs. Alternatively, use the USB-A interface to play stored Hi-Res music files, with support for WAV and FLAC formats up to 24-bit/96kHz. This ensures the player delivers its full sonic potential.

Connects to all types of systems

The CD5 offers three output options, making it versatile for connecting to various systems. Use the optical or coaxial digital outputs for AV receivers or digital amplifiers, or the analogue RCA outputs for traditional amplifiers without digital inputs.

Sleek new style

As part of the Radia series, the CD5 boasts a refined design with just six buttons and a discreet display. Its aluminium casing with rounded edges adds to its premium feel, and the compact remote control enhances convenience. It perfectly balances aesthetics and performance.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. I have recently purchased a HiFi package with Doug Brady and I could not be more thrilled with my experience with them.
