Enhanced Performance

A new rubber compound formula has been developed to optimise the balance between compliance and damping in the suspension system. Based on the Multi-Wall Carbon Nano Tubes (MWCNT) highly efficient nano filler, this compound provides superior mechanical properties, enhancing the cartridge's performance. The MWCNT-based formula not only improves damping but also facilitates a more environmentally friendly production process. By incorporating MWCNT powder in a rubber polymer matrix, the production process is cleaner, non-polluting, and energy-efficient.

Exceptional Detail

The 2M Black LVB 250 features a Nude Shibata diamond mounted on a Boron cantilever, a combination derived from the renowned MC Cadenza Black cartridge. The Nude Shibata stylus offers a slim, highly polished profile, ensuring an expansive contact area with the groove walls for exceptional detail across the entire frequency range. Additionally, the stiff and lightweight Boron cantilever contributes to remarkable transparency, speed, and responsiveness, further enhancing the overall listening experience.

Compatibility

The 2M Black LVB 250 replacement styli is recommended for interchangeability with Ortofon’s top-off-the-range 2M Black LVB 250 and 2M Black cartridges, plus the 2M Bronze.

It is also interchangeable with other 2M series cartridges such as the 2M Red and 2M Blue, however, the full performance of the styli will not be achieved due to their lower grade designs, but it will still be an upgrade.

Bought some Rega Kyte speakers, stands and chords from DB online and they were incredibly helpful. Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.
