Things are heating up with the newest addition to the Pro-Ject portfolio; the Flatten it. This vinyl LP “flattener” creates a warm environment within its sturdy chassis, so any warped record you place inside can become malleable enough to once again be pressed flat.

This LP flattener, along with our other cleaning and maintenance products, will breathe new life into vinyl albums that users previously thought non-playable, and allow them to keep their collections in ideal condition for longer than ever.

Pro-Ject Audio Systems is renowned for making audiophile dreams a reality at a reasonable price. One challenge for any vinyl enthusiast is the condition of the records. The quality of a record—its sound quality as well as its mechanical condition—is fundamental to any good or high-end vinyl experience. It is widely known that a significant portion of today's vinyl market consists of second-hand records, which are often dirty. This can be easily remedied with Pro-Ject’s vacuum cleaning machines, the VC-E2 and VC-S3. Additionally, these records are sometimes warped due to improper storage.

For some time, devices for flattening records have been available, but all of them tend to be quite expensive. Pro-Ject has now developed the "Flatten It," based on the mechanical framework of their vinyl cleaners. It is a compact, user-friendly product housed in a high-quality, robust cabinet. The result is an impressive product, made in Europe. While it is not cheap—true to Pro-Ject’s reputation for high-quality craftsmanship—it is priced very reasonably.

Probably one of the best companies in the world.
