Commodore™ ensures class-leading LFE delivery by preserving timing, accuracy, and clarity throughout the signal path. With over 35 years of expertise in subwoofer design, REL has engineered Commodore to function as a seamless extension of the subwoofer, capturing the smallest atmospheric details and the largest cinematic explosions with equal finesse.

Superior Construction, Refined Sound

At its core, Commodore™ uses a high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductor made of 19 strands of ultra-fine 38 AWG wire. This ensures precise transmission of dynamic content and nuance across the frequency spectrum. A dedicated grounding conductor comprising 11 strands of 99.99% pure OFC creates optimal grounding for enhanced dynamics. Combined with full-foil shielding, Commodore blocks electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, ensuring a quiet, distortion-free background even in challenging installation environments.

Engineered for Longevity and Flexibility

Built for evolving systems, Commodore™ features custom-machined RCA connectors with a reverse-threaded shell for a secure, long-lasting connection. The compact, hand-soldered connectors reduce strain on input jacks and simplify installations in tight spaces. Wrapped in REL’s Supplex™ ultra-flexible braided jacket, Commodore is easy to handle, install, and built to withstand repeated system upgrades.
