Project T1 Evo Turntable
The Pro-Ject T1 EVO aims to be your gateway into vinyl. Boasting premium materials, stylish aesthetics, and a rich, lively sound, the extensive development process has ensured that there has been no compromise in the sound performance while maintaining an affordable price point. The stylish CNC-machined plinth, available in High Gloss Black, Satin White, or Walnut finish, features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to avoid hollow spaces inside, preventing unwanted vibrations within the chassis. Carrying this philosophy through the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design – avoiding the flaws of plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Finally, the purpose-chosen turntable feet also do a good job of isolating the T1 EVO from ambient vibrations around your hi-fi system.
Features
- Electronic speed change between 33 and 45rpm
- Pre-adjusted Ortofon OM 10 cartridge
- Heavy 8mm blasted-glass platter on an anti-resonant sub-platter
- 8.6” one-piece aluminium tonearm with integrated headshell
- CNC-machined plinth with no plastic parts
- Low-capacitance Connect it Phono E RCA cable included
Precision Engineering and Stability
In the T1 EVO, the motor drives a belt attached to a new, larger sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. Alongside the chosen motor system, this combination ensures a smooth, anti-resonant rotational platform for the tonearm and cartridge to glide across. With its straight 8.6” effective length and stiff aluminium construction, the one-piece tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy during use. The integrated headshell, unlike other detachable, screwed-on, or glued-on alternatives, contributes to the reduction of additional vibrations, providing a notable improvement in sound quality.
Ortofon Cartridge and Uncompromised Performance
Supplied with an Ortofon OM 10 moving magnet cartridge featuring an elliptical diamond stylus tip, the T1 EVO offers a true hi-fi playback system with no corners cut. This turntable is designed not just for style but for performance, ensuring a level of sound quality that rivals more expensive systems. From the precision of the motor to the integrity of the tonearm and cartridge, the T1 EVO embodies a commitment to delivering an exceptional listening experience without compromise.
