Unmatched Sound Precision

The Astell&Kern PD10 features the groundbreaking HEXA audio circuit structure, debuting the new AK4498EX DACs with separate AK4191EQ digital processors. By completely isolating digital and analog signal paths, the PD10 delivers ultra-clean, high-fidelity sound with minimal noise - setting a new standard in audio performance.

Smart Gain & Crossfeed

The PD10’s Smart Gain feature automatically detects headphone impedance and adjusts amplifier settings for optimal performance—no manual setup needed. Low-impedance gear (≤32Ω) triggers Normal Gain (up to 5.5Vrms), while high-impedance gear gets High Gain (up to 8.3Vrms). Paired with customisable Crossfeed settings that reduce ear fatigue and simulate speaker-like listening, the PD10 ensures a refined, comfortable experience for every headphone user.

The PD10’s included cradle transforms it into a home audio hub, supporting charging and digital input via USB. Balanced XLR outputs connect directly to powered speakers or hi-fi systems, with adjustable or fixed output levels. A front LED displays track bit-rate with color-coded indicators, blending convenience and performance.
