Mackenzie RCA to RCA Analog Audio Interconnect Cable
Connect audio components to amplifiers and receivers with the AudioQuest Mackenzie RCA to RCA analog-audio cable. Designed for exceptional performance, it features Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors to minimise distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation to preserve dynamic contrasts, and Carbon Mesh-Network Noise-Dissipation to reduce high-frequency noise, delivering cleaner, clearer, and more natural music.
Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors eliminate electrical and magnetic strand-interaction. PSC+ Solid Copper reduces distortion from grain boundaries and enhances linear RF noise dissipation.
Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving 100% shield coverage is straightforward, but preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from affecting the equipment's ground reference requires AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Traditional shields absorb and drain noise/RF energy to component ground, distorting the critical "reference" ground plane and the signal. NDS uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to "shield the shield," absorbing and reflecting most noise/RF energy before it reaches the ground layer.
Direction-Controlled Conductors
All drawn metal conductors have a non-symmetrical, directional grain structure. AudioQuest manages the resulting RF impedance variation to drain noise away from areas prone to distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. Arrows on connectors indicate the optimal direction for superior sound quality. These arrows also signify the non-symmetrical attachment of the shield and ground, optimizing full-system performance. This is a key aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, ensuring proper noise dissipation.
Triple-Balanced Geometry
Our Triple-Balanced Geometry includes a separate ground-reference conductor, preventing the cable's shield from being used as an inferior conductor. Whether terminated with RCA or XLR plugs, the cable's three conductors ensure superior, low-distortion paths for both positive and negative signals.
Hard-Cell Foam Insulation
Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) Insulation maintains critical signal-pair geometry. Any solid material near a conductor forms part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and released as distortion. HCF Insulation, similar to Foamed-PE in our Bridges & Falls cables, is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. Nitrogen, like air, does not absorb energy, thus reducing distortion. Additionally, the stiffness of the material maintains a stable conductor relationship along the cable's length, producing a stable impedance character and further minimising distortion.
Cold-Welded, Hanging-Silver Directly Over Pure Purple Copper Terminations
This advanced termination method enhances signal integrity by ensuring a high-quality connection, contributing to overall performance and reliability.
