Its 5” high-resolution, full-colour TFT display, combined with a toughened glass front panel and hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls, makes for a truly modern user interface. The 40 AMP comes equipped with Cyrus’s custom-designed switch mode power supply, which can be further enhanced by connecting the optional 40 PSU external power supply, offering even greater stability and virtually noise-free operation.

The Cyrus 40 PSU proudly upholds this legacy, embodying cutting-edge technology in an elegant, compact chassis. Equipped with its own on-board microprocessor, the 40 PSU seamlessly connects to all 40 series products, intelligently adjusting power configurations to deliver optimal performance across a full spectrum of voltage outputs.

• Two fixed voltage power supplies intended to power sensitive, low-voltage analogue circuitry.
• Two variable voltage high-capacity power supplies designed to supply power to low or high consumption analogue circuitry.
• The variable power supplies also feature two unregulated voltage settings that can be applied to enhance the power supply for high consumption circuitry, such as power amplifiers.

Its versatility is further enhanced by its compatibility with both the 40 series and PSU-XR models, providing added flexibility for current Cyrus product owners.

The 40 PSU contains five independent power supplies, routed through a multi-way umbilical cable to a connected 40 series component. These include a high-capacity logic supply for digital circuitry, two fixed voltage supplies for sensitive analogue components, and two variable high-capacity supplies for analogue circuits. The variable supplies also feature unregulated voltage settings for powering high-consumption circuits, such as power amplifiers, ensuring exceptional performance across all devices.
