Low-Loss Bass and Midrange Woofers with powerful double magnets
Exclusively for SONIK 9, the 7-inch woofers feature a larger diaphragm and powerful double magnets for focused magnetic fields, low losses, and extra dynamic headroom. Combined with the Clarity Cone structure and wood fibre diaphragm, this design minimises resonance, enhances accuracy, and delivers effortless, detailed, and class-leading reproduction of midrange and bass frequencies.
SMC Essential Magnet System
The SONIK series uses our patented SMC magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC pole piece, placing SMC directly in the voice coil’s working zone. This minimises hysteresis and eddy currents, delivering cleaner, more detailed and relaxed midrange performance.
