The Creator of an Industry Standard
The enduring legacy of the Denon DL-103 is rooted in its original design, which was developed for NHK broadcasting in 1964. Due to its critical role in broadcast applications, the DL-103 has maintained its specifications and performance standards unchanged, as broadcasting regulations prohibit modifications that could alter sound quality. Today, the DL-103 continues to be used by broadcasting stations for playing valuable records, preserving the same high-quality sound it offered at its inception.
While the aesthetic of the DL-103 has seen minor adjustments due to updates in mold technology, the core components responsible for its acoustic performance, including the vibration system, remain consistent with the original design. The DL-103 is still meticulously handcrafted at the prestigious Denon Shirakawa Audio Works factory in Japan, north of Tokyo, ensuring its renowned quality and reliability.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.
The entire sound system that I purchased is insanely good, but still not as good as Doug Brady HiFi!

I have recently purchased a HiFi package with Doug Brady and I could not be more thrilled with my experience with them.

He set the system up so I could experience it, he made some suggestions which made the package even better.
