The Monitor Audio C165 In-Ceiling Speaker, sold singularly, comes in white, and it is a great speaker that can discreetly add high-quality audio into your room. It is an extremely versatile speaker that can be used in multiple ways to truly fill a smaller room. Though they are a small speaker with a 6 1/2" driver, the bass that comes out of them is truly incredible.
For the most accurate sound, your listening position ideally needs to be in line with the treble. Without this alignment, some precision is lost. The C165 addresses this with a pivoting tweeter, allowing you to direct the treble towards your main listening area without compromising on aesthetics.
Using Monitor Audio’s C-CAM gold treble unit and MMP II woofer, the C165 offers genuine hi-fi sound quality. The C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminium Magnesium) gold treble unit provides an extended frequency response, resulting in a treble that's smooth, sweet, and detailed.
Equipped with a 6 1/2" MMP® II cone bass driver, the Monitor Audio C165 is well-suited for smaller rooms. For larger rooms, the Monitor Audio C180 may be a better option due to its larger driver.
