Ortofon 2M Bronze Plug and Play MK II MM Cartridge
This Plug and Play version of the Ortofon 2M bronze cartridge offers the same exceptional sound quality as the standard model, but it is specifically designed for tonearms without a conventional headshell. It provides a practical and straightforward solution for turntables with SME-style arms, such as those produced by Technics, allowing for easy and efficient installation.
Upgraded Engine
The cartridge bodies of the 2M Bronze and 2M Black are crafted from a newly developed Noryl plastic and glass combination, a cutting-edge material that ensures high rigidity while effectively minimising unwanted resonances. Both models also feature an upgraded engine, incorporating split pole pins with silver-plated copper wire, which enhances their overall performance and sound quality.
Ortofon's 2M cartridges are meticulously designed to deliver precise and accurate retrieval of information from the record groove, staying true to the company’s philosophy of reproducing sound as faithfully as possible, without adding any tonal colouring. The diamonds on the 2M Bronze and 2M Black are expertly cut and polished to meet the highest industry standards, ensuring superior sound reproduction.
