REL customers expect more than just performance—they appreciate thoughtful design and exceptional materials. That’s why Commander is offered in both White and Black jackets. White integrates seamlessly with baseboards and lighter flooring, while Black fades into darker carpets or hardwood floors. It's as straightforward as Black and White. We’ve also carried forward our reverse-threaded RCA connectors from the Commodore cable—a small but clever detail. Unlike conventional RCAs that loosen when you remove them, ours tighten, thanks to smart reverse-threading and directional indicators for signal flow.

With over 40 years of experience, our in-house cable design team knows what works—and what doesn’t. While some cables rely on gimmicks that inflate cost, Commander focuses on the fundamentals. Its dedicated ground provides two levels of noise attenuation, and the twisted-pair hot conductor is made from 60 strands of 99.99% pure Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC). The result is a cable that’s both quiet and dynamic. The durable PVC jacket resists wear and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. And yes, the reverse-threaded RCA barrels are worth mentioning again. Our designers spent time observing real-world usage and addressed a simple but persistent frustration—connectors loosening when removed. With Commander, the more you twist, the tighter it gets.
