Rooted in Michi heritage and engineered to the highest standards, the Q430 pairs a high-quality floating CD mechanism with a meticulously designed, proprietary, in-house manufactured ultra-quiet power supply. Multiple stages of isolated voltage regulators reduce noise at the source, resulting in exceptionally low-distortion and acoustic contrast so quiet, subtle details and ambience emerge clearly from silence.

At the heart of the Q430 is a differential ESS SABRE ES9028PRO 8 channel DAC, configured for stereo use to further enhance signal purity while converting the disc's digital data with complete transparency and precision. This optimised implementation delivers a revealing yet refined character: greater separation, more stable imaging, and an open soundstage with realistic depth and placement - especially noticeable on well-mixed recordings including vocals, acoustic instruments, and complex orchestration.

System integration is straightforward and flexible, with both RCA single-ended and fully balanced XLR outputs to optimise performance with a wide range of preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers. On the front panel, a full-colour TFT display brings your collection to life showcasing album artwork and key disc playback information. The precision-milled aluminium chassis, premium fit and finish, and matching elegant aluminium remote control underline the Q430’s purpose: a dedicated disc player engineered for performance, reliability, and the lasting enjoyment that comes from truly exceptional engineering.
