Ruark has been designing and engineering its products in-house since 1985, with a commitment to audio excellence and design detail. The MR1 Mk3 is a reflection of this proud heritage, showcasing four decades of acoustic know-how. The finely crafted wooden cabinets now feature bevelled edges and new Slate Grey fabric grilles. Slightly enlarged enclosures house new NS+ Bass/Mid units, while an advanced Class D amplifier – adapted from Ruark’s R410 – offers increased power and precision. With enhanced crossovers and optimised bass reflex tuning, the MR1 Mk3 delivers deep, controlled bass, a clear midrange, and exquisite treble detail from its custom silk dome tweeters.

Whether you're listening wirelessly or using a wired setup, the MR1 Mk3 adapts to your needs. A new USB Audio input enables direct connection to computers or audio gear, ensuring audiophile-grade playback. With AptX HD Bluetooth, it also delivers high-quality, low-latency streaming, making it perfect for use with TVs and streaming devices – including full volume control via a connected TV remote. Additional line-in and optical inputs provide further connectivity options, while a dedicated phono input with a built-in high-quality preamp makes vinyl playback easy. Compact yet powerful, the MR1 Mk3 even includes a subwoofer output for those seeking deeper bass, with Ruark’s RS1 Subwoofer being a perfect companion.
