The Stream Box E continues our new streaming generation powered by the market-leading WiiM OS™, delivering fast operation, stable connectivity, and an intuitive user experience. Control is effortless with the new Pro-Ject Home app, which provides seamless access to settings, playback, and multi-room management.

Setting up the WiFi connection is a breeze. Just open the app and it automatically detects your new Stream Box E and walks you through the setup process. Comfortably reset the WiFi connection via long press of the play/pause button on the front panel.

Versatile Streamer & Preamp

The Stream Box E is a versatile device that can be used in many different setups.

Used as a classic network streamer it adds WiFi connectivity to your existing integrated amplifier. Paired with a standalone power amplifier and passive speakers it creates a modern audio system supporting both digital streaming and analogue sources. Or connected directly to your favorite active speakers it allows you to create clean, minimalist hifi stereo setups.

The tactile aluminium volume and play/pause buttons allow for quick music controls whenever you don‘t have your phone for app-control nearby.

Built for performance and longevity, the Stream Box E features a robust aluminium and metal enclosure that protects sensitive internal components while providing effective electromagnetic shielding. This allows the Stream Box E to be placed directly next to, or even stacked on top of, your amplifier without compromising audio performance.

Option 1: Connected to Integrated Amplifier

The most traditional use case, the Stream Box E will add digital streaming capabilities to your trusted integrated amplifier. This separates streaming from your amplifier, resulting in best audio quality and longevity for your system. There is no need to replace your amplifier when you can add new features to it as time goes by.

Option 2: Connected to Power Amp & Passive Speakers

In this case, the Stream Box E is used as preamp and connected to a power amp, for example our Amp Box S3. The Stream Box E controls the volume and offers digital streaming and an additional analogue input for your favourite turntable or CD player.

Option 3: Connected to Active Speakers

The most compact setup. Connect your Stream Box E directly to your favourite active speakers and upgrade them with modern WiFi streaming services and an extra analogue input for your turntable. As most active speakers provide volume control as well, volume can be controlled either by the Stream Box E or by your active speakers‘ built-in volume control.

Wireless Multi-Room Streaming

Multi-room functionality allows you to use multiple streaming devices across different rooms and control them from our Pro-Ject Home app. You can play the same music throughout your home for a synchronized listening experience, or stream different audio in each room independently. This creates a flexible, whole-home audio system that adapts to your listening preferences.

Designed for modern listening environments, the Stream Box E offers powerful multi-room capabilities, allowing music to flow throughout your home.

With Pro-Ject True Wireless technology, the device can both send and receive audio wirelessly. The integrated analogue RCA input allows you to connect a turntable and share your vinyl playback wirelessly with other compatible devices like the Wireless Box E or Uni Box S3.

You can group multiple latest generation Pro-Ject streamers, build flexible multi-room systems and listen to your favourite vinyl records anywhere.

Streaming Services

Pro-Ject Home gives you access to all the major and many smaller streaming services. The Stream Box E delivers stable, high-quality audio streaming across a wide variety of platforms, including Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and many more, giving you seamless access to your favorite music with exceptional clarity and reliability. You can group multiple latest generation Pro-Ject streamers and build flexible multi-room systems.

Performance and Connectivity

Dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) ensures reliable performance on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, supporting stable streaming even in demanding network environments. Bluetooth 5.0 is supported as well.

For analogue connectivity the Stream Box E features a high-quality gold plated RCA output and input, with the latter being able to share the connected analogue device, like your turntable, to your multi-room Pro-Ject network. This is cross-compatible with other WiiM products.

Fully multi-room capable, the Stream Box E can be paired with Uni Box S3, Wireless Box E, and other next-generation Pro-Ject streamers for playback throughout multiple rooms. An optical output allows easy integration with external DACs or audio systems.

The Stream Box E features a high-quality aluminium front panel complete with aluminium buttons, available in silver or black. Play/pause and volume buttons give you quick access to playback controls. The robust metal chassis ensures durability and a premium look.
