A high specification mains cable – designed, hand-built and rigorously tested in the UK. An updated and reworked version of the previous Power Chord, now featuring an improved, thicker stranded conductor and a redesigned, higher gauge braid wire shield. Part of the widely acclaimed and extensive Shawline range of analogue and digital interconnects, headphone and speaker cables.

Fitting and Application

This Chord Company mains power cable is fitted with a 13-amp fuse and is intended for use only with hi-fi and audio-visual components. It has been designed to improve the overall performance of audio and video components. The unique shielding system means it can also improve picture quality when used with projectors and screens.

Conductors:	3 x high purity multi-strand copper conductors. Parallel conductor layout.
Insulation:	PVC internal and external insulation with high mechanical damping factor
Shielding:	Dual layer high frequency effective braid and foil combination shield
Outer Jacket:	High density vibration damping outer jacket
Connectors:	Fitted with high-spec 10 or 16 amp IEC plugs. Also available with ‘Fig 8’ connectors.
Standard Lengths:	1m, 1.5m, and 2m

Bought some Rega Kyte speakers, stands and chords from DB online and they were incredibly helpful. They updated my delivery address very quickly and recommended a longer cut of cables which they did complimentary. They also noticed I didn’t order with banana plugs so called me back to double check, which I did mean to order. When i had some issues connecting my cables and speakers, I called for some advice which they happily gave. Excellent service and next day delivery to London. Thoroughly recommend.

Probably one of the best companies in the world. They had to special order in the speakers which took a fair bit of time, which is totally understandable, but they kept in touch with me throughout the entire time with updates (even on a Sunday!!!) and once the speakers were with them, they were dispatched and arrived next day.

The entire sound system that I purchased is insanely good, but still not as good as Doug Brady HiFi!
