Audiophile Design & Features

The Pre Box S3 delivers high-fidelity performance with a dedicated moving magnet (MM) phono stage engineered for low noise, high gain, and exceptional linearity. It preserves tonal balance and dynamics, allowing records to sound lively and natural.

The Pre Box S3 features a fully analogue volume control operated by a motor-driven potentiometer. This design combines smooth, precise adjustment with uncompromised signal integrity, allowing effortless control while maintaining the purity and detail of the original audio.

Alongside this, it features a Cirrus Logic CS4344 24-bit/192 kHz DAC for precise digital conversion and a dual mono circuit layout for outstanding channel separation. The built-in headphone amplifier delivers 2×70 mW into 32 ohms with very low distortion for clean, detailed sound. This ensures that private listening maintains the same clarity and dynamics as the main system.

Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD support allows the Pre Box S3 to stream audio wirelessly from smartphones, tablets, and computers with high fidelity. aptX HD provides 24-bit audio quality at up to 48 kHz, delivering detailed, dynamic, and near-lossless sound.

Versatile In- and Outputs

The Pre Box S3 offers all modern connectivity to act as your central Hi-Fi stereo hub. You can also connect digital sources like your TV via eARC or a CD transport via the coax or optical S/PDIF inputs and use the internal DAC with a quality up to 24-bit and 192 kHz.

It also provides versatile output options. The variable RCA output is connected to your power amp. A separate fixed line-level output allows you to forward the connected sources to your external headphone amplifier or second zone. Connect your subwoofer via the dedicated sub-output. Trigger connectivity for remote turn on/off is included next to a very versatile RS232 connector for custom installation remote control.
